Infant Eye Care

No-Cost InfantSee® Comprehensive Screenings
(for infants 6-12 months old)

This is part of a nationwide program to detect eye and vision problems at a very early age. Found early, many eye and vision problems can be corrected. Our testing is completely objective, which means we can collect all the information we need without asking any questions.

We can determine if your child is nearsighted, farsighted or has astigmatism. We will also look for congenital issues such as cataracts, glaucoma or retinal defects.

We will see children at any age, including newborns. The reason we prefer to wait until children are six months old is due to the increased development of the “hardware and software” of the eye. Once children reach this age, eyes will begin to work as a team and vision improves considerably. However, if you feel there is any abnormality with your child’s eyes at any time, call for an appointment. Also call if you think your child has pink eye.  There are many causes of pink eye and we can determine the cause and proper treatment.
